About On Learning Golf

Dear Golf Player,

Whilst Joe Dante provides a very solid book on how to develop a professional-like golf swing, there are many other authors, players, and instructors with many other approaches on how to do a swing. Percy Boomer was one of them, and I have included articles from his book for you.

He notes that most golf books up to his time concentrated on "how to" perform certain techniques, how to hit the ball, how to swing your club, how to gain an edge. However, he also noted that there were no books on how to learn golf.

His experience as a golf player and golf instructor gave him an insight on the process of learning golf effectively, and he shares that insight in his book.

Apart from Percy Boomer's articles, I will soon include materials from other authors, including myself, focusing - of course - on the golf swing.

As you may have noticed, I'm in the process of changing the old pages into the site's new look and feel. That takes a bit of time, but it will get done soon (allowing, of course, some spare time for me to play golf too!).

Meanwhile, I will continue including Percy Boomer's articles for you.
